Elzire's Biography

Princeton, Massachusetts, USA

I paint using an Iwata Custom Micron SB, HPBC, and a customized HPC for automotive and signs (for you airheads out there). Drawing has been part of my life ever since I can remember, sitting on the floor as a child copying the artwork from the masters out of the old family bible. From there I drew horses, horses, horses, with a few people and animals here and there. Painting came in my adult life. My favorite is painting on black silk. I like bringing light to the darkness ~ hmmmm, a look into my psyche, perhaps?

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

I'm married to an incredible man (see below) with two adult children, Sarah and Adam. In addition, we have two Jack Russell Terrors (oops, I mean Terriers, LOL) Jack and Jewel, Honey, a sweat, older Chi mix I found in a swamp, an indoor kitty, Manny, Carmen, a Paso Fino horse and Shotsie, a Missouri Foxtrotter.

On an ultra personal note, which I feel compelled to write for all of you out there with this disorder- I'm bipolar (manic-depressive) and I'm living proof that you can have a happy, productive life -and I do mean HAPPY! It's not easy, but then anything worth while never is.
